There were exactly three months before the Bishop's installation to completely update and restore the beloved Sanctuary. In a joint venture with preservation specialists we were called to "make this jewel shine."

For twelve weeks engineers, contractors and restoration craftspeople followed the precise program developed by the Heimsath & Volz team.

The restoration that would typically take up to a year was completed in three months, and the Bishop installed on schedule.

This small rural Texas congregation decided to restore its church to the original 1906 design and update the worship space to meet current liturgical needs.

Years of well-intended modifications had compromised the building and had to be removed.

Using the original 1906 drawings we were able to replace the steeple and form new interior arches.

St Mary's restoration reclaims an early 20th century landmark while enhancing its uplifting spiritual dimension.

This historic Sanctuary built in the 1800's served a dynamic congregation. They made the courageous decision to stay in the inner city and restore and renovate their church.

The sanctuary was expanded allowing more room for the chancel and choir.

The narthex was opened up and included elevator access from the street directly to the Sanctuary.
