A recent article by Ed Van Herick quotes both Ben Heimsath and Eric MacInerney about their expertise in designing family life centers. The Designer Magazine article focuses on new ideas for multi-use facilities in churches. A family life center, sometimes called a multi-use hall, is a building that is designed to be used for more than one purpose. This gives churches the option to combine things like a gym and a cafeteria into one space.
