Residential Design & Construction  Residential

This project was borne out of the owner's desire to renovate a cramped dark kitchen and add a second family room space to their home built in the 1980's.  The design solution included converting the existing kitchen into a multi-functional family room providing home office space as well as mud room storage. A light, bright eat-in kitchen addition ties to an existing screened porch and original family room.  The large red steel beam denotes the break between the old and new. Collaboration with interior designer Laura Burton resulted in well-organized, cheerful spaces for the whole family to enjoy.
