There are plenty of shapes and sizes for a church. This one is pretty unusual. In the early 1970’s, there were plenty of ideas for making new shapes and using materials creatively. This form makes sense when you consider the orientation. The bank of windows along the side all face north. This building was shaped to capture disperse light, the artist’s light, that comes through north facing windows.
